Lunar Dispatch: Flower Moon • May 1, 2026

Flower Moon Icon

Hello, friend.

The first full moon of May rises May 1st under a sky bursting with spring energy. Traditionally called the Flower Moon by Algonquin and other Native peoples, it marks the moment when wildflowers carpet the land in every color. It’s the kind of moon that feels like a quiet promise — wildflowers pushing through the earth, ideas waking up after winter, everything ready to bloom in its own time.

I’m Chris, and this is the very first Lunar Dispatch from Full Moon Web Music.

Right now the site is still simple and new: you’ll find the home page with a simple message about the site being a work in progress, a few link buttons, this growing Lunar Dispatch blog where these monthly letters will live, and the newsletter signup waiting in the footer. That’s it for now — and somehow it feels exactly right under this particular moon.

At Full Moon Web Music we believe the full moon is more than just a pretty sky event. It’s a reminder to pause, breathe, and let creativity flow without forcing it. So for every full moon cycle, I’ll send you a short dispatch like this: a little moon lore, new music, and special content.

The Vibe This Moon
Spring energy is everywhere. The Flower Moon invites us to let ideas bloom first and worry about pruning them later. No pressure, just presence.

A Thank You for Visiting
As a little thank you for stopping by Full Moon Web Music, I’ve added a new and always growing Full Moon Favorites page — music videos from various artists that I hope will bring you a bit of joy under the moon.

Full Moon Favorites

Thank you for being here on this first night. Whether you’re a fellow night-time creator, a casual moon lover, or just someone who needed a gentle reminder to bloom in your own time — I’m really glad you’re part of this small circle.

We’ll do this again on the next full moon (the rare Blue Moon on May 31). Until then, I hope the Flower Moon brings you a little extra light.

With warmth under the same sky,

Chris
